Wrexham, Wrexham, Wrexham the Supporters Shouts
Wrexham is a town in North Wales, located near the border with England. It is the largest town in the north of Wales and has a population of around 67,000 people. The town is known for its industrial heritage, particularly in coal mining and brewing, but has diversified into other sectors such as technology, education and retail. The town center is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Parish Church of St. Giles, which dates back to the 15th century. The town also has a number of parks and green spaces, including the Erddig Country Park, a National Trust property featuring a stately home, gardens and woodland walks.
The Wrexham AFC football club, founded in 1864, is one of the oldest professional football clubs in the world. Watch the Wrexham documentary with Ryan Reynolds on Disney Plus if you want to learn about the club. While it is not hot air balloon related it is very interesting. The people in Wrexham are very proud of their club and culture.
