Macclesfield is a town located in the county of Cheshire, in the north-west of England. However, it is often associated with Greater Manchester as it is situated on the eastern edge of the county and is part of the Manchester commuter belt. The town has a population of around 52,000 people.

Macclesfield is situated in the foothills of the Pennines and is surrounded by picturesque countryside, including the Macclesfield Forest and the Peak District National Park to the east.
