Feering is a village situated in the county of Essex, in the east of England. It is located approximately 3 miles northeast of the town of Witham and has a population of around 2,500 people.
The village of Feering has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Bronze Age. Today, the village has retained much of its traditional character, with a mix of old and new houses, as well as a number of listed buildings and historic landmarks.
One such landmark is the Feeringbury Manor, a Grade II listed building that dates back to the 15th century. Another notable site is the Church of St. John the Evangelist, which was built in the 19th century and features a distinctive spire.
Feering also boasts several local amenities, including a post office, a village hall, and a community center. There are several pubs and restaurants in the village, including the Five Bells, a popular local pub that serves traditional British cuisine.
